WARREN, Pa. – Roundabout construction is expected to move into phase 2 beginning the week of June 14, and that means new travel patterns for motorists traveling on Pennsylvania Avenue and Market Street.
Phase 2 of the project is expected to last for six weeks, according to PennDOT. During phase 2, the work zone intersection at Pennsylvania Avenue and Market Street will be open to through traffic heading east on Pennsylvania Ave. Motorists heading west on Pennsylvania Ave will need to detour through the Tops Plaza and down Clark Street to Liberty Street, or make a right to head north on Market St.
The City of Warren said in a social media post that “access to all local businesses will be maintained.” The City also encouraged patience as people adjust to the new traffic patterns.
