Prep Powers Past Warren

ERIE – Nick Jackson had a big day at the plate with a 3-run homerun and six RBIs to lead Cathedral Prep to a 10-0, 5 inning win over Warren at Mercyhurst on Saturday.

Jackson capped a 5-run first for the Ramblers with a homerun that plated P Sullivan and M Stadler. He then hit a 2-run single in the second and drove in the 10th run of the game with a groundout in the fourth.

Sullivan added two hits and drove in a pair in the win as well.

Jason Fultz picked up the win allowing just one hit over four scoreless innings. He walked three and struck out eight. John Koshan didn’t allow a hit, walked one and struck out two in a scoreless inning of relief.

Archie Teconchuk took the loss allowing seven runs, all earned, on three hits with a walk and a strikeout in 1 ⅔ innings.
