Police Looking for Information About Multiple Thefts

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Car parts and hunting equipment were stolen in parts of Venango County and state police are seeking assistance in finding them.

According to Franklin-based Pennsylvania State Police, troopers responded to a call on Petroleum Center Road in Oil Creek Township where an Oil City man reported that two Warrior Pro Big Game tree stands and three green and black camouflage trail cameras were stolen from the area he hunts. The items went missing at the end of September, the victim reported.

At approximately 9:37 a.m. Oct. 23, troopers responded to a call on Cherry Run Road in Rouseville Borough where a Franklin man said sometime between Oct. 19 and Oct. 22 someone removed a catalytic converter from his 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe. The part had been installed in the spring of 2020, the victim told police.
