TIDIOUTE, Pa. – State Police and the Tidioute Borough are seeking information about a hit-and-run incident that damaged property at the Tidioute Sewer Plant overnight.
According to a release from PSP-Warren, sometime between 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19, and 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20, a silver 2014-2024 Toyota 4-Runner traveling south on Main Street drove off the road toward the sewer plant. The 4-Runner struck a fence and sewer tank, damaging both, then fled the scene.
Police said the color, make, and model of the vehicle were determined based on debris left at the scene.
Tidioute Borough Manager Amanda Mesel said in a Facebook post that “there would be significant damage to the front end” of the vehicle, which also left behind a “Tidioute, PA” decorative license plate.
