JAMESTOWN, NY – A pair of Warren County residents were among the 31 students inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society at Jamestown Community College last week.
Students were inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society during ceremonies on April 11 on the Cattaraugus County Campus and April 13 on the Jamestown Campus.
A student must achieve at least a 3.50-grade point average to be considered for the national two-year college honor fraternity.
Thirty-one students were inducted into the Jamestown Campus Alpha Kappa Beta chapter, and seven into the Cattaraugus County Campus Alpha Psi Omega chapter.
Joana Leamon, a 2020 JCC graduate and promotions post-production editor and producer for Buffalo Toronto Public Media, was the guest speaker. The ceremonies were attended by friends and family members of the inductees.
