WARREN, Pa. – The new McDonalds at 75 Market St. in Warren was officially open for business on Thursday.
Both the inside and outside are completely updated, complete with kiosks for ordering, a brand-new dining area, and two drive-thru lanes, completing a project that began in late July.
They opened their doors at 8 a.m., welcoming back customers with $1.50 hotcakes and $2.50 10-piece Chicken McNuggets.
“We are now a top-of-the-line restaurant here to serve you the Warren community,” said general manager Kelly Thompson.
Patrons noted the improvements as well.
“It has a real modern look to it,” said Barry Smith of Warren. “They did a really nice job with it.”
The Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry congratulated the staff on the reopening as well.
“Congrats to Mcdonalds on reopening,” WCCBI said in a Facebook post. “Please be patient with their staff and wish them all congrats and good luck.”
Other customers noted the long lines for the opening (the drive-thru line was backed up all the way onto Market St. at one point.
“People are excited,” noted Jim Peterson. “Even though McDonalds has been here a long time, it feels brand new.”
