WARREN, Pa. – Nyquist Long & Associates and A&B Heating posted big wins in boys’ majors, while Struthers Hose Co. outlasted Holden Well Service in boys’ minors Little League play.
BOYS MAJORS
A&B HEATING 11, ALLEGHENY PRINTS 2
For Allegheny Prints Wyatt Wilson struck out 5 batters in the first half of the game and Logan Ristau struck out 5 in the second half.
For A&B Heating Tanner Stuart hit a single. Dru Abbey hit a triple and Hunter Ingerson hit a triple. Ty Bryan went 2 for 2 at the plate with a double and a triple and he also struck out all but one batter he faced.
FROM MAY 16: NYQUIST LONG & ASSOCIATES 15, ALLEGHENY PRINTS 2
Tucker Sanford hit an inside-the-park home run and tripled, while Matt Shippee and Grant May each had three hits for Nyquist Long and Associates. Shippee tripled and May doubled.
Jaret Lang and John Papalia each had a double.
Mikah Benton got the start and had four strikeouts over two innings. Lang struck out five in his two innings, and Papalia struck out a pair in his inning.
Defensively, Ryker Chase made a big catch in right field for the second straight game.
Wyatt Wilson and Connor Smith had hits for Allegheny Prints, while Connor Smith, Logan Ristau, and Bentlee Moore handled pitching duties.

STRUTHERS HOSE CO. 6, HOLDEN WELL SERVICES 2
Struthers Hose Co beat Holden Well Services 6-2 in Sheffield Wednesday night. Glade Rulander lead the way on the mound giving up 1 run over 3 innings. Ackron Hoisington shut the door striking out the side to seal the win, and had a single. Cameron Groves had 2 runs scored for Struthers. Connor Rockwell and Waylon Holden lead the way for Holden Well Services. Rockwell had a solid single to the opposite field.
