JC Warren Real Estate 5, Superior Tire 1
Austin Hanson hit a double and a home run for JC Warren Real Estate. Seth Brown also hit a double.
Hayden Raffaele was the starting pitcher for Superior Tire with 9 strikeouts and held them to two runs until the fifth inning. Broc Bryan had a bare-handed catch at third to throw the runner out at first.
Jackson Valley Trucking 18, United Refining 15
Jackson Valley Trucking traveled to Youngsville, Pa to play United Refining Company. In the first inning, Jackson Valley Trucking outscored United Refining Company 5 runs to 0. United Refining Company’s Jansen Walters (United Refining Company) hit a double in the second inning, bring United Refining Company back into the game. United was still down at the end of the second inning 5-10. The 3rd and 4th innings were action-packed. Jackson Valley Trucking’s Reed Fitzgerald and Laine Jackson both hit doubles in the 3rd inning putting Jackson Valley Trucking in the lead 13-5 going into the bottom of the 3rd inning. Lucas Bosko hit a double in the bottom of the 3rd bringing United Refining back into the game down 10-13. In the 4th inning, Case Neall hit a double putting Jackson Valley Trucking up 18-10. In the bottom of the 4th, Lukas Baxter hit a double, once again bringing United Refining Company back into the game.
Cornerstone 16, Amsdell Orthopedics 9
Jackson Warner hit two doubles to keep Cornerstone in the lead in the third inning.
Jack Abplanalp had a double and a triple to secure the win for Cornerstone.
Grant Criswell with Amsdell Orthropedics, stopped a hard-hit line drive and threw to Carter Johnson at third for an out.
Trenton Wright popped up a high fly ball to center field to score Elias Tudor.
Bentley Rugg had a strong performance at first base with two tosses from Noah Caldwell for back to back outs.
