Little League: Allegheny Oil & Lube, Cameron Energy Pick Up Girls’ Wins; Betts, Allegheny Prints Win in Boys’ Action

WARREN, Pa. – Allegheny Oil & Lube held off Dreamboat Marine & Hobbies, while Allegheny Printing edged Warren Overhead Door and Cameron Energy and Betts Industries won big in weekend Little League action.

GIRLS’ MAJORS

ALLEGHENY OIL & LUBE 16, DREAMBOAT MARINE & HOBBIES 15

Zella Seither had two hits and three RBIs, Riley Grubbs had two hits and two RBIs, Zoe Lindsey had a hit and three RBIs, Bristol Holden had a hit and an RBI, and Lily Richards had a single.

Richards and Grubbs were strong in the circle.

GIRLS’ MINORS

CAMERON ENERGY 21, ONEIDA LUMBER/ACE HARDWARE 13

Cameron Energy held steadfast with their winning streak against Oneida Lumber for their second game of the season. They started the first inning with their five-run limit. Lexi Campman then held strong with allowing one run in and a quick three strike outs. Cameron Energy had several RBIs made by Kaylinn, Lilly, Clara, Addison, Alexis and Charolette. The winning pitcher was Lilly. Oneida made several infield plays. Their final pitcher, Macy, struck two batters out with a throw at first for the third out of the night.

BOYS’ MINORS

BETTS INDUSTRIES 14, DAHLSTROM FOAM

For Dahlstrom Wesley Hornstrom went 3-3 at the plate

Gunner Rhoades, Ridgley Blum and Eric Stuart each has a hit.

For Betts Industries, Evan Wilcox had 5 RBIs including a 3-run triple, and a 2run home run.

BOYS’ MAJORS

ALLEGHENY PRINTING 7, WARREN OVERHEAD DOOR 5

In a battle for each teams first win of the season, it came down to the last inning with Alleghany Printing getting the win. Wyatt Wilson pitched 4 great innings from the mound, he had 8 strike outs and allowed 3 runs. Conner Smith came in relief and got the win. Bentlee Moore was hot at the plate going 2-2 with a double and in the park home run for Alleghany Printing.

For Warren Overhead Door, it was a combination of Bentley Sherry, Mason Warner, and Clay Cummings doing the pitching. Jack Aipoalani had a big hit to center for a triple. Hunter Cummings, Clay Cummings and Mason Warner all had singles in the game.
