RUSSELL, Pa. – Gannon Jaquay’s 5-2 decision at 152 pounds spearheaded a 48-24 Eisenhower win over Union City.
Jaquay trailed Union City’s Clay Thomas in the match of the night, 2-1 before a second-period reversal game him a lead he wouldn’t relinquish.
Jaquay talked about the win afterward:
It was an impressive finish to the match for the Knights, who got pins from Josh Parker (172), Brok English (189), and Michael Vanatta (285), as well as a 21-7 major decision from Tucker Lindell at 160, a tech fall from Griffin Williams to begin the match at 106 and a pin from Ryan Chambers at 113.
