WARREN, Pa. – The Rotary and Exchange Clubs of Warren held a St. Patrick’s Day raffle, with the drawing on Thursday at Bent Run Brewing Company.
The raffle served as a fundraiser for the organizations, who have seen their normal events limited the past couple of years because of COVID.
A St. Patrick’s Cooler of Cheer was given away.
“It’s been hard with COVID the past couple of years,” said Exchange Club President Myron Nordin. “The service organizations have fundraisers such as the turkey party and the pancake dinner, but due to COVID, in-person functions of that nature have been limited.
“These types of raffles have allowed the Exchange and Rotary clubs to substitute some of those losses.”
