LANCASTER, Pa. – East Forest FCCLA members recently attended their State Leadership Conference, March 18 – 20 at the Wyndham Resort and Conference Center in Lancaster.
While there, they received the following awards: National Program award, State Outreach award, and Gold status as an Outstanding Chapter award. Nine members competed in the following STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) Events with these results – Chapter Service Project Portfolio Level 1: Gold medal and National Team honors: Alexandrea Carroll and Vera Heferle; Chapter Service Project Portfolio Level 3: Silver medal and National Team honors: Hailee Oliver and Taylor Oliver; Interpersonal Communications Level 3: Bronze medal: Lauren Geraci; National Programs in Action Level 1: Gold Medal and National Team honors: Jacob Glass and Brody Hartle; National Programs in Action Level 2: Gold medal and National Team honors: Nicholas Geraci and Willa Heferle.
The students with National Team honors look forward to representing Pennsylvania and their local communities this summer at the National FCCLA Conference in Seattle, Washington. They will continue to improve their leadership skills and compete against students from all across the nation. East Forest FCCLA thanks all those in the community who supported these projects in any way.
