MARIENVILLE, Pa. – Members of the East Forest FCCLA presented a check for nearly $500 to the Forest County EMS Authority last week.
The money was raised from a concert at the beginning of the school year featuring Lisa Bodner and Whistlegrass as well as other donations from the community.
Presenting the check were East Forest FCCLA members Brody Harle, Lauren Geraci, Nick Geraci, and Jonah Glass.
The check was presented to Ed Stoner, Patrick Kline, Gregg Mellon, Thomas Zimmerman, and Matt Sherbine.
While the East Forest FCCLA is actively raising money to attend their state and national conventions, it also believes it is important to give back to other worthwhile organizations in the community, according to a release from Forest Area School District.
