Dragons Fall to McDowell at UPMC Park

ERIE, Pa. – McDowell scored six runs in the first inning on its way to an 11-1 win over Warren at UPMC Park on Monday. 

The Trojans got RBI singles from Jackson Hower, Dan Snyder, Sam Crowely, and Curtis King and a double off the bat of Matt Demski. 

McDowell struck for three more runs in the third inning. Chris Juchno went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs, while Hower had two hits and two RBIs and Crowley also brought in a pair. 

Snyder got the win, allowing one run in four innings of work. He allowed three hits, walked three and struck out seven. 

JT Blum went 3-for-3 for the Dragons, while Owen Blum had a sacrifice fly. Ben Berdine and Micah Passmore both had a hit and a walk. 

Ben Sowa took the loss.
