DUBOIS, Pa. – The Warren boys’ golf team saw their season end in heartbreaking fashion losing a playoff to State College at the PIAA Class 3A subregional at the Treasure Lake Silver Course on Thursday.
The Dragons got a 73 from Braddock Damore, an 82 from Brady Berdine, an 83 from Conner Zaffino and an 88 from Reid Olsen to finish at 326 in a tie with District 6 champion State College. Bradford finished with a team score of 371.
State College, who had a pair of 78s from Brady Wager and AJ Corson, also finished with a 326 at the end of 18 holes.
The two teams then went to a playoff hole, where the Little Lions finished with a combined score of 16 and Warren 18.
Damore will head to the PIAA individual championships on Oct. 17-18 at Penn State.
