David A. Tannler

David A. Tannler, 65, of Warren, PA., passed away at his residence Monday, February 8, 2021.

Dave was born October 12, 1955, in Warren to Wilma J. (Wagner) Tannler of Wake Forest, NC, and the late John C. Tannler.

The 1973 Warren Area High School graduate retired from United Refinery in December 2017 after 39 years of service. He was an avid golfer who played in leagues at Blueberry golf course and Jackson Valley golf course. Dave enjoyed meeting friends to play virtual golf at Baldy’s. He also participated in the Youngsville City Men’s Bowling league on Wednesday nights and was a member of the Eagles Club. Dave was especially kind and generous with his family. He was a friend to many. Dave enjoyed spending time with friends and making new ones at the annual “Jamboree in the Hills” music festival.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Deborah Yucha and her husband Tom, of Warren, PA. Dave is the proud uncle of Brandon Benjamin who resides with his wife Ange and their daughter Elsa in York, PA. Dave’s niece, Allison Moreschi, her husband Nathan and their daughter Mila currently reside in Youngsville, NC. He was preceded in death by his father in 2003, and his infant sister, Becky Sue Tannler in 1959.
