July 14, 2022

WARREN, Pa. – The Warren County Commissioners approved bids for the sale of four vehicles previously belonging to the now disbanded Warren County All-Hazards team during Wednesday’s meeting.

Items auctioned off included a 2015 Ingersoll Rand gasoline-powered compressor (top bid $1,150), a 2005 Chevy Silverado (top bid $10,050), a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer (top bid $1,525), a 1990 E1 Federal Motors Hush rescue truck (top bid $10,100) and a red firetruck (top bid $7,100).

The online auction “went rather well” according to Chief Clerk Pam Matve during Monday’s work session.

Commissioner Ben Kafferlin was also pleased with the results.

“It seemed pretty easy to use,” Kafferlin said. “Everyone’s happy.”

Funds from three of the vehicles sold will go back to the Emergency Planning Committee.

The other vehicle was obtained through Homeland Security Funding, which will go into the county emergency management budget.
