WARREN, Pa. – Beaty 7th and 8th grade volleyball each won a pair of matches against Sheffield and Youngsville recently.
The 8th grade team topped Sheffield 25-18, 25-16, 25-10 on Feb. 15, then beat Youngsville 25-11, 25-19, 25-7 on Feb 17. The 7th grade team was a 2-1 and 2-0 winner over Sheffield and Youngsville, respectively.
In the two matches combined, Maddie Nosel had 15 aces, 7 kills, 2 digs; Delaney Wright had 14 aces, 8 assists; Kayla Fultz had 9 aces, 3 kills, 6 assists, 6 digs; Emma Gray had 8 aces, 1 dig; Lauren Fajbik had 6 aces, 2 kills, 2 assists, 2 digs; Lilly Newton had 5 aces, 5 kills, 2 digs; Ryleigh Bowers had 4 aces, 1 kill, 1 assist; Tori Solberg had 4 aces, 7 kills, 1 dig; Elissa Errett had 2 kills, 3 assists; Cayci Kramer had 1 kill; Cailyn Gerbec had 1 assist; and Sophie Fromknecht had 1 assist.
