Andy CloseBarbara J. Kent, 79, of Youngsville, Pa, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Warren General Hospital.
She was born on February 14, 1942, in Titusville, a daughter to the late William J. and Jane (Lynch) McGraw. Barb was a third grade Elementary teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School in Warren for many years, retiring in 2005. She was a member of St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church in Youngsville. She was an avid reader and enjoyed volunteering at the Youngsville Public Library whenever she could. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Neal (Elizabeth) Kent, of Warren and her grandchildren, Peyton, Haley & Braelyn.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Kent and her brother, William H. McGraw.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, March 25, at St. Luke Roman Catholic Church, 420 N. Main Street, Youngsville, Pa 16371, at 11 am with the Fr. Rev. Richard Tomasone, pastor, officiating. Private burial will follow in St. Jacqueline Cemetery in Tidioute.
