RUSSELL, Pa. – A moment of silence was observed to honor the life of Justin Curtis prior to the boys’ majors game between Area Agency on Aging and Warren Overhead Door at the Farm Colony Complex on Thursday.
When the dust settled, Area Agency prevailed in a close 8-7 decision.
For Area Agency, Ramsey Williams had two hits and Wesley Wilcox had an RBI double. Braylon Haskins had five strikeouts and Colton Haynes had four strikeouts, with Haynes notching the win on the mound.
For Warren Overhead Door, Mason Warner hit a solo home run and Logan Kittell had his first hit of the season. Hunter Briggs displayed excellent base-running skills and Bentley Sherry struck out three on the mound.
