WARREN, Pa. – Congratulations to four-year-old Bence Bierbower for reading 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten.
Bence just finished reading 1,000 books as part of the Warren Library’s 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program. Pictured with Bence are his parents Laura and Rich. Laura said they started keeping track on the Library’s Reader Zone app in November, and Bence enjoyed watching his progress. Bence received an official 1,000 Books t-shirt and a reading medal.
He is well on his way to building a strong foundation for kindergarten. The Library invites other preschoolers to the challenge. Information about the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program can be found here.
Thank you to the Kiwanis Club for awarding the library a grant that enabled the purchase of the t-shirts.
