Warren Tire Center Winter Storm Watch Issued for Warren County

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Warren County.

The Watch runs until 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023. Heavy lake effect snow with accumulations of 3 to 5 inches with the potential for over 6 inches mainly over northwest Warren County is possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

“The periods of heaviest snowfall and travel impacts are expected between 8 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday as temperatures drop below freezing,” the NWS said.

Hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening and Tuesday morning commutes as drivers should prepare for slippery road conditions.
