April 12, 2024

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Warren and Forest Counties for Friday, April 12, 2024.

The advisories run until 7 a.m. Saturday for Forest County and until 6 p.m. Saturday for Warren County. Steady west winds from 25 to 35 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph are expected.

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,” the NWS said. “Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle (and) secure outdoor objects.”

Heavy rains and flooding throughout the region have forced PennDOT to close roads.
