Warren Earns High School Bowl Win

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – Warren Area High School defeated Cassadaga Valley Central School 49-41 in a recent Media One High School Bowl match at SUNY Jamestown Community College.

Warren’s Kaden Kelly-Pojar, Cassadaga Valley’s Nicholas Denslow, Chautauqua Lake’s Ian Riedesel and Sydney Hawkins, and Southwestern’s Bradley Lachner earned Player of the Match honors.

Competing for Warren (3-0) were Kelly-Pojar, Shyann Rulander, Lydia Balas, Devin Stover, Molly Suppa, Hailey Bush, and Ashley Plank.

The Cassadaga Valley (2-1) team included Denslow, Jonathan Zybert, Paige Zybert, Alex Kahle, and Bianca Chamberlain.

In another match, Chautauqua Lake Central School topped Southwestern Central School 75-52.

Riedesel, Hawkins, Jonah Reyda, and Jonas Simora competed for Chautauqua Lake (4-0).

Southwestern (2-1) was represented by Lachner, Will Dorman, Sam Mincarelli, Brayden Haaksma, Sterling Wynham, Matt Lefler, Nolan Lefler, and Philipp Meyer.

High School Bowl, now in its 60th year, is produced by Media One Group in cooperation with JCC.

Sponsors include Jamestown Community College and the JCC Alumni Association, WJTN, The Weinberg Financial Group, The Chautauqua County Humane Society, Pepsi, and The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.

High School Bowl airs at 11 a.m. Saturdays on WJTN (1240 AM & 101.3 FM) and at 7 a.m. Sundays on SE-93 (93.3 FM).
