WARREN, Pa. – Beaty’s 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams each went 2-0 last week and won 11 of the 12 sets they played.
The 8th grade team topped St. Marys (25-11, 25-8, 25-22) on Tuesday and defeated Sheffield (25-5, 25-10, 25-11) on Thursday to improve to 9-0-1 this season.
Through both games Brooke Sherry had 13 aces, 7 kills, and 3 digs, Peyton Cabisca had 12 aces, 12 assists, and 2 digs, Brynn Norris had 9 assists, 3 digs, Malysia Sorensen had 8 aces, 2 kills, 11 digs, and 12 Serve Receptions (2.17 SR Rating), Maggie Bennett had 4 aces, 8 kills, and 3 digs, Addison Ristau had 2 aces, 4 kills, and 4 digs, Paiden Johnson had 5 aces and 3 kills, Violet Brooker had 3 aces and 3 kills, and Julia Getner had 5 aces, 8 kills, and 2 assists
The 7th Grade team also swept St. Marys (28-26, 25-22, 25-14) and beat Sheffield (25-11, 25-8, 20-25) to improve to 8-2.
Through the two matches Brooke Barney had 4 aces, 5 kills, and 5 digs, Bella Egger had 3 aces, 5 kills, 8 assists, and 2 digs, Hailey Cabisca had 16 aces, 5 kills, and 2 digs, Michaela Dolan had 5 aces, 5 kills, and 3 assists, Kiera Garris had 10 aces, 3 kills, and 6 digs, Jade Sorvelli had 2 kills, Adelaide Keeports had 1 ace, 2 kills, and 2 digs, Grace Schwab had 2 kills, and Lennon Critzer 1 kill.
