SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Sheffield will now have three wrestlers at the Northwest Regional Class 2A championships.
Freshman Chase Kyler (106 pounds) will join teammates Ethan Finch (189) and Landon Mead (160) at regionals. He finished fourth at districts last weekend, but a wrestler ahead of him was forced to withdraw from regionals due to injuries, opening the door for Kyler.
Sheffield has had three wrestlers go to regionals in the past, but in the previous case, it was two from Sheffield and one from their co-op with Abraxas.
Regional action gets underway Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from Sharon High School.
