PennDOT Announces Warren County Maintenance Schedule for the Week of June 24, 2024

OIL CITY, Pa. – Acting Warren County Maintenance Manager Ryan Wescoat announced the following county maintenance schedule for the week of June 24, 2024, for roadways maintained by PennDOT.

PennDOT crews at facilities throughout District 1, which includes Crawford, Erie, Forest, Mercer, Venango, and Warren counties, complete a large scope of work on more than 3,600 miles of roadway throughout the year to help provide an efficient transportation system. Additional information about different PennDOT Maintenance Activities, including those listed in the table below, is available at penndot.pa.gov.

All work is weather-dependent.

The Warren County maintenance schedule is Spray Patching in Farmington Township, Pine Grove Township, Pittsfield Township, Freehold Township, Sugar Grove Township, Sheffield Township, and Mead Township on Scranton Hollow Road, Miller Hill Road, Cole Hill Road, Route 27, Route 957, Niobe Road, Route 948, Horton Avenue, and Route 6; Shoulder Stabilization in Pleasant Township on Mohawk Avenue; Crack Sealing in Brokenstraw Township and Southwest Township on Route 6 and Route 27; Ditch Cleaning in Pine Grove Township on Swede Hill Road.

Fill dirt left over from PennDOT maintenance operations may be available to property owners who request the material, have accessible property near work areas, and submit a completed M-666 packet.
