LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Seven local students earned Dean’s or President’s List honors at Commonwealth University for the Fall 2023 semester. Commonwealth University campuses include Lock Haven, Bloomsburg, and Mansfield.
Students included on the Dean’s List were:
Aspen Fors, of Pittsfield, PA – Bloomsburg campus
Krysta Nordland, of Russell, PA – Bloomsburg campus
Lance Baldensperger, of Warren, PA – Lock Haven campus
Cael Black, of Warren, PA – Lock Haven campus
The list, prepared at the end of each semester, recognizes those students who have achieved academic distinction. To qualify for the Dean’s List, the student must have earned a GPA of at least 3.50, on a 4.0 scale, in 12 or more semester hours of letter grades.

Thiel College announces Dean’s List for fall 2023
GREENVILLE, Pa. – Five Warren and Forest County students were among the 404 students named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2023 semester at Thiel College.
A student must attain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale while being enrolled full-time to be eligible for the Dean’s List at the College.
Ryleigh Ecklund, of Warren, PA (16365), is studying Psychology Counseling Track. Ecklund was a member of the first year class this past fall.
Giovanni Elinsky, of Warren, PA (16365), is studying Health Systems Major. Elinsky was a member of the first year class this past fall.
Hailey Shirlaw, of Warren, PA (16365), is studying Health Systems Major. Shirlaw was a member of the first year class this past fall.
Owen Trumbull, of Bear Lake, PA (16402), is studying Environmental Science. Trumbull was a member of the junior class this past fall.
Jessica Wagner, of Tionesta, PA (16353), is studying Exercise Science. Wagner was a member of the junior class this past fall.

Warren resident graduates from James Madison University
HARRISONBURG, Va. – Jeremiah Padilla of Warren graduated with a degree(s) in Performance, Pedagogy and Literature – DMA from James Madison University during commencement exercises in December 2023.
Padilla was among more than 1,000 students who received undergraduate and graduate degrees.
