Local Students Earn Dean’s List Honors at Westminster College, Valdosta State, E. Stroudsburg

NEW WILMINGTON, PA. – Several Warren County students were recently named to the Dean’s List at Westminster College.

Jessica Hulse of Tidioute is majoring in Biology. Hulse is a graduate of Tidioute Community Charter School.

Lyddia Rougeux of Pittsfield is majoring in Molecular Biology. Rougeux is a graduate of Youngsville Middle-Senior High School.

Hunter Peterson of Russell is majoring in Music Performance – Organ. Peterson is a graduate of Eisenhower Middle/Senior High School.

Theresa Schall of Sheffield is majoring in Criminal Justice Studies and Psychology. Schall is a graduate of Sheffield Area Middle High School.

Rachel Anil Cherian of Columbus is majoring in Biology. Anil Cherian is a graduate of Corry Area School District.

The Westminster College Dean’s List recognizes students who achieved a 3.6 grade point average or higher in a minimum of 12 semester hours.

Karrie Montilla Earns Dean’s List Recognition at Valdosta State University

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta State University congratulates Karrie Montilla of Youngsville for earning a spot on the Spring 2023 Dean’s List.

Dean’s List honors are reserved for the highest achieving students at VSU. Montilla is one of more than 1,600 distinguished and accomplished students recognized for exemplifying excellence in the attainment of their educational goals.

To qualify for Dean’s List at VSU, students must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.00 or higher. Please note that developmental studies, transient, and graduate students are not eligible for Dean’s List status.

Jacob Williams Named to East Stroudsburg University Spring 2023 Dean’s List

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – A total of 1,244 students, including Jacob Williams of Russell, have been named to the Dean’s List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Spring 2023 semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, according to Margaret Ball. D.M.A., interim provost and vice president for academic affairs.

Students eligible for the Dean’s List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade “B” earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade “A” earns 4 quality points per credit.
