Long-Nyquist and Associates earned a 13-2 win over Allegheny Prints in boys’ minors action.
Keegan Weissinger threw three innings, striking out five, while Mikah Benton tossed two innings and struck out four for Long-Nyquist. Matt Shippee closed things out, striking out the side in the sixth.
Offensively for Long-Nyquist, Weissinger, and Shippee had two hits each, Jared Long and John Papalia had doubles and Collin Havers had a triple, while Benton and Jaycen Hornstrom had one hit each.
Wyatt Wilson struck out 11 for Allegheny Prints, while Logan Ristau struck out five in relief.
Connor Smith and Brody Connelly had doubles for Allegheny Prints, while Bently Moore had a triple and Wyatt Wilson also had a hit.
