Gilbert Re-Elected President of Pennsylvania Tax Claim Bureau Association

WARREN, Pa. – Phil Gilbert, Director of the Warren County Tax Claim Bureau, has been re-elected president of the Pennsylvania Tax Claim Bureau Association for his second consecutive term.

He will begin his second one-year term in January 2024.

“I’m extremely honored to once again, be elected president of the Tax Claim Bureau for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,” Gilbert said. “I look forward to working with my colleagues across the state to advocate for the interests of our tax claim bureaus and the citizens we serve.”

The Tax Claim Bureau Association is a statewide organization that represents the interests of county tax claim bureaus. The association discusses and evaluates the possible impacts of proposed and enacted legislation and handles requests from the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP).

As president of the association, Gilbert will preside over the association’s meetings and represent the interests of the association’s members at various events and meetings.

“The Pennsylvania Tax Claim Bureau Association is a professional organization that unites county tax claim directors to promote collaboration, improve efficiency, and advocate for improved service to the public.” Gilbert said.

Gilbert has been with the County since 2013 and serving as the Director of the Warren County Tax Claim Bureau since 2016. He is also a member of the Warren City Council, Chairs the Warren County Redevelopment Authority and Warren County Landbank, President of the Warren Area Student Union, Co-founded and President of Innovault Coworking, and has a photography business, JP Photography, that he has operated since 2013.
