Fourth of July Parade Route Changing Direction in 2022

April 7, 2022

WARREN, Pa. – The annual Fourth of July parade in the City of Warren will have a new direction in 2022.

While much will remain the same, the route itself will be changing in 2022. The normal route that heads West on Pennsylvania Avenue is projected to be obstructed due to the construction of the roundabout.

The forming area will be the same, however, instead of heading North on Carver Street, the participants will go West on Lexington Avenue and past the Conewango Towers. At the intersection of Conewango Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, the parade will head East on Pennsylvania down to Marion Street.

“We will start at Conewango Extension at the beginning of the bridge on Pennsylvania Ave.,” said Fourth of July Organization Chairman Bill Thompson. “It will turn right and end at Marion St. by Warren Tire Center. The forming area will stay the same, including the sign-in desk at the YMCA.”

The parade will be on Monday, July 4 this year. The fireworks are slated for Sunday, July 3.
