WARREN, Pa. – Warren City Council approved a Local Share Account Grant Application for renovations to the Fire Hall and Municipal Building.
The grant application, which totals $760,000, would include renovations to the fire hall truck bay windows, as well as the restrooms and a new generator that will go behind the fire hall and serve both buildings
“Each building has its own generator, and both are over 40 years old,” said Warren City Manager Mike Holtz.
The city had applied for other grants to fund the renovation project in the past that were unsuccessful.
“This is a package that we’ve put together for other funding applications,” Holtz said. “We already have a lot of the work done.”
