COOKSBURG, Pa. – The deceased body of a Clarion County woman who authorities had been searching for Wednesday, Sept. 13, and Thursday, Sept. 14, was discovered Thursday morning.
The deceased body of 43-year-old Andrea Leigh Guntrum was found at 9:43 a.m. in Cook Forest State Park.
Guntrum had been the focal point of a search in the state park by numerous area fire departments, including Marineville VFD, state police, and other state agencies, that started in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Sept. 13, after her car was found near the Cook Forest Fire Tower on Fire Tower Road off of Pennsylvania Route 36.
The Oil City Derrick reported that Guntrum was first reported missing by her family around 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12.
