Zeigler Has Career High Game in WAHS League; Anthony, Edwards Top Saturday Strikers

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Senior Alex Zeigler had a career-high game 196 to help him finish with a league-leading 497 during Warren Area High School League play at Valley Bowling Center.

Zeigler was one of three bowlers who went over 400 this week. Sydney Rex (407) and Kyleigh Wilson (401) also had 400 series. Rylie Yeager (392) and Alex Zariczny (387) narrowly missed 400 series of their own.

A pair of Youngsville Elementary students had big weeks during Saturday Strikers action. Fourth-grader Wyatt Walters had a high game 101 to help him finish with a 234 series, while third-grader Keagan Lehnen’s high game 99 led him to a 229 series.

Jakobe Anthony led the league with a 481 off a high game 177. Corinthia Edwards finished with a 415 series and a 160 high game. Aydin Anthony also had a 415 series with a 159 high game. Tommy Jukes’ 156 high game propelled him to a 412 series.
