WARREN, Pa. – Your Daily Local is proud to announce that it will be broadcasting Warren County Youth Baseball/Softball Association games, beginning with the mid-season tournament Friday and Saturday.
The games will be aired on the YDL Facebook page as Facebook Live broadcasts and will provide full audio, with a video component, of select games in multiple levels throughout the remainder of the regular season. A video embed of each broadcast will be available on yourdailylocal.com for those who are unable to access the Facebook feed.
“We’re really excited about this opportunity to showcase Warren County’s young athletes,” YDL co-owner Andy Close said. “Playing under the lights was always a big thrill for those of us who grew up playing and we hope the thought of ‘being on TV’ will add another layer of excitement for these athletes.”
Broadcasts will begin with a Girls’ Majors doubleheader at Betts-Jackson Friday night, then continue with multiple broadcasts throughout the day Saturday. Additionally, YDL will broadcast at least one game per week (weather permitting) through the end of the regular season.
Game recaps, including video highlights, will be available on YDL as well.
“We’ve seen through our high school sports coverage on D9and10Sports how much it means to friends and family who can’t be at every game to have the chance to see their favorite athletes in action,” Close said. “We wanted to extend that ability to the family and friends of all the WCYBSA athletes as well.”
