Your Daily Local, LLC is seeking a talented outside sales representative to join our team.
Founded in 2020, we are a multimedia company covering news and sports in Warren, Forest and Venango Counties (via yourdailylocal.com) and high school sports in the PIAA’s Districts 9 and 10, an area that includes a population of over 800,000 people living in 17 different counties in Northwest/North-Central Pennsylvania, including the City of Erie (via d9and10sports.com).
We achieve our goals in a number of different ways including written coverage, audio broadcasts of live sporting events, Facebook Live broadcasts of live sporting events and other events, video interviews (both in person and via Zoom), promotional contests, awards in a variety of sports and much more.
Responsibilities
- Services existing accounts and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Recommends changes in service or policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
- Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers.
Experience
- General higher education or sales-training and qualifications.
- Ability to communicate via telephone and email.
- Able to build rapport quickly over phone or face to face.
- Strong networking skills.
- Motivated self-starter.
Salary
Commission-based. Representative will earn 25 percent commission on all sales.
