The Youngsville Old Fashioned Christmas will be on Saturday from 6-8 p.m.
This year the event will be a drive through, with the focus on lighting up the town, including Irvine and the Old Pittsfield Road.
Everyone is asked to decorate like they have never decorated before. Youngsville Borough will be selling luminaries to help make each property festive and add to the Christmas spirit.
Don’t live in the area? Decorate your car that you will be driving that evening! There will be prizes for the best decorated houses and also prizes for best decorated cars.
Santa will be waiting and kids are encouraged to bring their letters to put in Santa’s mailbox. While there will be no sitting on Santa’s lap, he will still be there to wave and shout ‘Merry Christmas’ and hand out a few goodies.
Other stops will include kits to make your own ornaments, a live Nativity, music, pizza samples and decorated fire trucks.
There will also be a drive by to include the residents at the Rouse. The entered decorated cars will be judged at the Rouse so that residents can enjoy them and we can bring a little Christmas spirit to the residents.
There will also be a scavenger hunt as you drive through town.
