YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Youngsville battled, but couldn’t get past visiting Rocky Grove in a 3-1 loss Tuesday.
The Orioles dominated the first set, but the Eagles came back and took the second before Rocky Grove went on to pick up the 25-10, 17-25, 25-17 and 25-16 win.
Andrea Sveda led the Eagles attack with 14 kills, three blocks and two digs. Jena Wilson had 25 assists, five digs and three aces.
Rocky Grove won the junior varsity match, 24-26, 25-21 and 16-14.
Mia Rafalski had five aces, four digs and two kills, while Ashley Peterson had five aces and three digs.
The Eagles will host Cambridge Springs Thursday for Senior Night.
