Youngsville, Eisenhower Fall in High School Bowl

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – Fredonia Central School edged Youngsville Area High School 41-38 in a recent Media One High School Bowl match at SUNY Jamestown Community College.

In another match, Westfield Central School topped Eisenhower High School 77-23.

Earning Player of the Match honors were Rebecca Lash of Fredonia, Christopher Edwards of Youngsville, and Brett Shreve of Westfield.

Fredonia (1-0) was represented by Lash, Abby Lauer, Joella Bauza, Matt Schrantz, Patrick Cotter, and Jacob Sullivan.

The Youngsville team (0-1) was made up of Edwards, Tristan Coccaro, Emily Hatchings, Gavin Bandy, and Konnor Eck.

Shreve, Alina Franklin, Lanie Schofield, Isaac Stoughton, Joceyln Hotchkiss, Yadhira Ortiz, Addie Luce, Lyra Stephenson, and Brooke Luce competed for Westfield (1-0).

Eisenhower (0-1) team members were Cricket Branstrom, Katie Bunk, Ellie Eastman, Haley Eckman, Payton Frank, Drew Mandeville, Alyssa Wismar, Abe Wolf, and Winnie Wolf.

High School Bowl, in its 61st year, is produced by Media One Group in cooperation with JCC.

High School Bowl airs at 11 a.m. Saturdays on WJTN (1240 AM & 101.3 FM) and at 7 a.m. Sundays on SE-93 (93.3 FM).
