Youngsville Borough Holding Clean-up Day For Residents; Scrap Metal Collection for Everyone Saturday, May 8

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Youngsville Borough will be holding its annual Clean-Up Day from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 8.

The event, which is open to borough residents only, will be held in the parking lot of the borough building located at 40 Rail Road Street in Youngsville.

The cost is $10 per carload and $20 per truckload. The borough is accepting anything except for the following items: tires, batteries, paint cans, propane tanks, desktop or laptop computers, computer monitors, computer peripherals (accessories), televisions, or any other electronic device or any other hazardous material.

ID is required to prove residency in the borough.

BOROUGH HOLDING SCRAP METAL COLLECTION SAME DAY OPEN TO EVERYONE

During the same day and hours, Youngsville Borough will also be holding a scrap metal collection, which is open to everyone, not just borough residents. There is no charge for bringing in scrap and all proceeds from the scrap metal will benefit renovations for Brokenstraw Valley Swimming Poll (BVSP) in Youngsville.
