YMCA Flag Football: Eagles Move to 4-0 with Win Over Bills; Cowboys Blank Bears

WARREN, Pa. – The Eagles improved to 4-0 with a win over the Bills, while the Cowboys mimicked their NFL counterparts with a shutout win over the Bears in YMCA Flag Football action last week.

EAGLES 38, BILLS 8

The Eagles scored four touchdowns on offense, and added another defensively in a 38-8 win over the Bills.

Ackron Hoisington scored twice, Parker Stanton threw a pair of TD passes, and Ridgley Blum and Charles Sienkiewicz each scored in the win.

Max Papalia added a pick-6 on defense.

Mary Bennett threw a touchdown pass to Eric Steuart for the Bills’ offensive TD, while Michael McElhaney recorded a safety on defense.

COWBOYS 14, BEARS 0

Weston Ackley and Jaxon Wotorson each scored touchdowns as the Cowboys topped the Bears, 14-0.

Ackley had a TD reception and Wotorson ran in for a score. Raymond Yoder ran in a 2-point conversion and added an interception on defense.

Hunter Olewine stopped a pair of breakaway runs for the Cowboys defense

STEELERS 20, BILLS 12, FROM SEPT. 13

Leyton Curtis and Evan Wilcox hooked up for a pair of TD passes to lead the Steelers to a 20-12 win over the Bills.

Wilcox added another TD on the ground and had a pair of interceptions.

Evan Wellner ran in a score and threw a TD pass to Gavin Spess.
