YHS Nearly Sweeps Varsity Teams at Valley

December 1, 2020

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – It was nearly a clean sweep for Youngsville High School on the Varsity Teams at Valley Bowling Center last week.

Eagles bowlers took seven of the eight spots for the week ending Nov. 27. The lone exception was Eisenhower’s Taylor Napolitan on the girls team.

Becca Henry led the girls team with a 659 handicap series. Corinthia Edwards was right behind with a 655. Napolitan followed with a 624 and Maygan Stoddard finished with a 586.

On the boys side, Brandon Forslund led the way with a 665. Aden Hendrickson came in with a 661, followed by Joe Walsh (651) and Austin Peterson (648).

This season, Valley Bowling Center has introduced the concept of weekly “varsity teams” based on series handicap. High school bowlers in the Saturday Strikers, Youngsville Middle/High School and Warren High School Leagues are eligible for the varsity teams.
