RUSSELL, Pa. – Sheffield picked up its third straight sweep, and second over a cross-county rival, at Eisenhower Monday night.
After topping Youngsville Friday and DuBois Central Catholic Saturday, the Wolverines kept rolling with a 3-0 (25-8, 25-10 and 25-17) victory over the Knights.
Kassidy Orinko had a huge night on the service line as she was a perfect 23-23 (no errors) with 11 aces. She also chipped in 5 kills and 6 digs.
Lynzie Grubbs had four kills and five digs and Kadence Steffan had eight digs and ran the offense with 12 assists.
Sheffield also won the junior varsity match, 25-15 and 25-16.
Syrena Antonuccio had nine assists and five aces and Emily Foster had five kills in the win.
