William ” Wild Bill” Lucas, 85, of Russell, Pa., passed away on Sept. 1, 2021, at his residence.
Bill was born Dec. 6, 1935, in Warren, Pa., the son of the late Paul and Florence Thompson Lucas. He graduated from Warren High School in 1954 and served in the U.S, Navy. Bill worked at SKF, formerly Marlin Rockwell as a Millwright for many years.
He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed hunting, especially rattlesnakes. Bill was a member of the Russell Fire Department for 63 years. He enjoyed spending time at Millers Grove telling stories and visiting with his many friends.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Holly (Mark) Saullo; a sister, Mary Schwanke; grandson, Dylan Saullo; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Christen-son Lucas; and an infant brother, Henry Lucas.
The family suggests memorial donations in Bill’s memory be made to Hospice of Warren, One Main St, Warren, PA 16365.
