Andy CloseWilliam Henry Wilcox Sr., 71, of Wilderness Park in Clarendon, Pa passed away on Sunday morning, August 15, 2021 at his home in the loving care of his family.
He was born May 8, 1950, in Fulton, NY, a son to the late Frank and Annetta Wilcox. He worked for Kingsview Paving for 27 years and operated the blacktop plant for several years before retiring. After retiring, he joined a gold mining club. He enjoyed panning and searching for gold and other gems. William also enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with is family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Virginia Wilcox; 3 daughters, Tina (David) Martinelli of Sugar Grove, Pa, Tammie (Kelly) Martenson and Katie Wilcox both of Jamestown, NY; 3 sons, William (Heather) Wilcox Jr. of Clarendon, Pa, Shawn Wilcox of Everett, Pa and Ellis (Dani) Wilcox of Jacksonville, NC; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Jay (Jan) Wilcox of Gerry NY, Eric (Kathy) Wilcox of Sugar Grove, Pa, Earl (Donna) of Youngsville, Pa and Marc (Dawn) Wilcox of Oklahoma; 4 sisters, Pat (Lee) Parker of Forestville, NY, Frances Wilcox of WV, Laurie (Tom) Egger of Warren, Pa and Lisa (Herman) Sumner of WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dee Wilcox.
A celebration of life will be planned by the family and held at a later date.
