SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Turnovers doomed the Razorbacks as they dropped a 12-0 decision to Smethport.

The Razorbacks got into Lil Hubbers territory multiple times, but a pair of fumbles kept them out of the end zone.

After forcing a 3-and-out, the Hubbers used a 6-play drive to score their first touchdown. On their second possession, the Razorbacks marched into Smethport territory, but a sack-fumble turned the ball over to the Hubbers.

The Razorbacks forced a turnover on downs to start the second half, but couldn’t capitalize and punted the ball away. Smethport answered with its second touchdown drive of the game.

Another sack-fumble ended the Razorbacks next possession. Zach Mocny forced a Smethport fumble which was recovered by Alex Haight, but the Razorbacks were unable to score.

Harrison Williams led the offense with 35 rushing yards. Alex Haight rushed for 5 yards, Gideon Milliman ran for 4 yards while Jack Shattuck ran for 1 yard.

The defense was able to hold the Hubbers to 12 points when they had been averaging 30 points a game. Haight led the team in tackles with 6 and a fumble recovery. Milliman had 5 tackles while Williams had 3 tackles. Julian Darrieux, Mocny, Shattuck, and Kaison Sutton all had 2 tackles.
