Boys’ Majors
ROCKET DETAILING 9, NICKERSON 8
Pitchers for Rocket Detailing were Ayden Stiteler, Nathan Klenowski, Holden Demers, and Leyton Salvatore. Pitchers for Nickerson were Noah Bleech, Charlie Blum, and Michael Knapp. Aaron Shene from Nickerson had a triple.
Boys’ Minors
WOODIN LAW OFFICE 8, TERRY CARD HOME IMPROVEMENT 7
Card’s Eddie Alplanalp started his night out with a nice HR to right field with Degan Peterson following up with a single and an RBI. Woodin’s Tanner Stuart also brought the big bat out, hitting a HR that brought in teammate Parker McBride. Brody Connolly followed suit with a rip to right field, giving him his first HR of the season.
Stuart and McBride both had great nights on the mound. Going into the bottom of the 5th and up by just 1 run, Stuart finished off his pitching with one last strikeout. McBride handled well the pressures of the game, throwing the last two strikeouts that would end their night with an 8-7 victory over Card.
SECOND CHANCE SHOP 11, A&B HEATING 11
Ty Bryan, Mason Warner and Dru Abi all had doubles for Second Chance Shop and Colin Havers hit a solid RBI.
Jaret Lang and Tucker Sanford had RBIs for A&B Heating. Grant May hit a double and Justin Hall had a solid hit.
Girls’ Minors
EXPERIENCE INC 14, REBEL DEN FITNESS 8
Taylor Bailey led Experience by pitching 4 innings and striking out 10 batters. She also hit a triple and scored 4 runs. Carissa Smith and Haley Kent each had 3 hits and scored 3 runs. Alice Watt made a nice play at second base to get the final out. Serena Brown had 2 doubles for Rebel Den.
