WARREN, Pa. – Cornerstone Lounge was able to make a last inning rally for the win after being down by one to Allegheny Oil and Lube in Girls Minors’ action.
For Allegheny Oil and Lube Riley Grubbs pitched three innings with seven strikeouts, which included striking out five in a row. She also caught a hard-hit line drive back to the pitchers’ mound for an out. Emalee Fuhrman had three hits and two RBIs and Neveah Grubbs also had a single.
For Cornerstone Lounge, Bristol Holden and Aleah Sudul both had two singles and two RBIs and Addison Johnson had two singles and an RBI. Holden, Sudul and Johnson drove in three of the runs to help secure the rally. Johnson was able to field a grounder at third and threw to Taylor Swanson at first who was able to tag the runner on first to secure the win.

Dreamboat played American Legion Halgren post 658, with Dreamboat earning an 18-16 victory.
Laken Carroll had a double and a single for Dreamboat and Brook Scott had a double for American legion.

Ground Zero Stump Grinding earned a 17-7 win over Warren JC Real Estate in Boys’ Minors action.
For Ground Zero, Trae Cradduck crushed a double and also had a hard-hit single. Matt Shippee added six strikeouts during his two innings of work.
JC Real Estate had singles by Bryson Hurley, Lauson Hoisington, and Brody Moore. In the field, Lauson Hoisington turned a double play.
