Warren’s White Earns D9and10Sports All-District 10 Football Honors

WARREN, Pa. – Warren Area High School senior Ben White earned Jim Kelly D9and10Sports.com All-District 10 Football Team honors Powered by the Allegheny Grille of Foxburg, as released Monday.

White was one of three receivers selected to the team, joining Sharon’s Ja’on Phillips and Farrell’s Kylon Wilson.

White put together one of the more impressive seasons for a receiver in program history with 32 receptions 769 yards and 10 touchdowns. What stood out the most was his big-play ability, as he averaged a whopping 24.0 yards per catch.

He was also a major threat in the return game, averaging 22.9 yards per kickoff return, with a long of 83 (a touchdown in the regular-season meeting against General McLane) and a punt return average of 16.6.

The Dragons went 5-5 on the season, advancing to the District 10 Class 4A semifinals where they dropped a hard-fought 28-20 decision to General McLane.
